French actress Mélanie Laurent will join the cast of “Fauda” for the fifth season of the Israeli war drama, which is slated to premiere in Israel in early 2026, followed by a worldwide launch on Netflix.

Laurent, of “Inglourious Basterds” fame, who recently played Marie-Antionette in “The Flood” (2024) and wrote and directed “Freedom” (2024), will take a lead role in “Fauda” when it begins production later this month.

In “Fauda,” Laurent will be featured in seven of the nine episodes in the upcoming season, starring alongside Lior Raz. They worked together on the 2019 Netflix film “6........
