Trump doubles down

Now it looks like Trump is ready to attack Iran, as reportedly talks are at an impasse, and many armaments are being sent to the region.

There now seems to be a momentum.

These are wondrous times. Monumental events. Spectacular and unexpected. We  are truly living in amazing times.

Suddenly a world which seemed to be in danger from Iran and its proxies, is about to change.

Some people are worried about who’s going to take over if the Iranian regime falls. Will there be chaos? There’s a lot of concern. But one thing’s for certain. If Iran’s regime falls, that deals a tremendous blow to evil. And that has to be good.

We are living in extraordinary times.

We’ve just entered the Jewish month of Adar, a time when our sages tell us that we should increase happiness. Well, getting rid of the terrible Iranian regime, which will automatically weaken its proxies, is truly a cause for rejoicing.

We are living in times when we’re seeing miracles, as Israel bounced back from October 7 to defeat its enemies, and as the US is now helping Israel and the world by getting rid of evil.

Soon, in two weeks, Jews worldwide will celebrate the holiday of Purim. Perhaps by then we will have extra reason to celebrate, as Iran, which sits on land once occupied by ancient Persia, is defeated. It’s reminiscent of when King Achashveirosh, who was the king of Persia and had signed an evil decree against the Jews, reversed the decree; and as Haman, the evil advisor to the king, was hanged. It was an event where everything turned upside down, where the oppressors who formulated a plan against the Jews, were themselves upended and destroyed.

Now too, Iran’s regime had an evil plot against the Jews, and we are seeing it reversed as they are about to be dealt a mighty blow. The oppressors are now being vanquished. Prospects of good vanquishing evil, seem very close.

Perhaps this is a prelude to Messianic times, when good will thrive throughout the world, and all will be aware of and recognize G-d’s omnipotence, as He conducts everything in the world by Divine Providence.

Redemption. A time when good will prevail in the world, which will become the beautiful garden that G-d designed. A time of redemption for the Jewish people, and a time when the entire world will see peace. As the prophet says, “the world will be filled with knowledge of G-d, just as the waters cover the sea.” (Isaiah 11; 9)

May it happen very soon.
