Today I enter a sacred crossing.

Not an ending, but a transformation.

My body, which has carried me through seasons of becoming, asks something different of me now. It asks for stillness. It asks for listening. It asks for trust.

For so many years, I have created.

I have created life, memories, meals, comfort, laughter, traditions, safety, and love. I have woven myself into the lives of those I cherish. I have given from places deep within me, often without counting the cost.

And now, my body invites me into a different kind of creation.

The creation of rest.

The creation of healing.

The creation of space.

This Hysterectomy is not taking away my womanhood. It is revealing another face of it.

I honor the womb that has served me faithfully. I honor every cycle, every ache, every transformation, every........
