When Jews watch masked individuals marching through European streets, chanting for the destruction of Israel, they live with constant fear. What once sent shockwaves through the Jewish community now barely registers, not because it hurts less, but because it happens too often to count. Europe has become that place where antisemitism is no longer a shadow of the past but sometimes masked as progressive activism. They endure it when Jews are chased, spat on, or punched in broad daylight for wearing a kippah. Because what once happened only in dark alleys now occurs increasingly in public spaces. Jewish safety in Europe is severely threatened.

In 2024 alone, Germany documented 8,627 antisemitic incidents. That’s not a typo. That’s twenty-four attacks, threats, or acts of hate every single day.

Jewish children in Germany now learn what generations before them hoped to forget: fear. The kind of fear that should have disappeared in 1945 but which now grows again, brazen, shameless, and insufficiently addressed by the state.

While Europe’s streets burn with chants of “Intifada” and “From the river to the sea,” some of Germany’s political youth leaders, like those in the Green Youth, are pouring gasoline on the fire.
