Whether you celebrate Valentine’s Day or not, February is a time to focus on our hearts (and chocolate). It is American Heart Awareness Month and a time, especially for women, to learn more about cardiovascular health.

Hadassah, The Women’s Zionist Organization of America has taken a lead in heart health, with its outreach to women in the US and its support of the research, treatment and preventive health outreach of the Hadassah Medical Organization (HMO) in Israel. HMO’s initiatives have translated into groundbreaking and lifesaving cardiac care that impact treatments around the world.

The connection between Hadassah and women’s heart health is a long one.
