Every election cycle, a familiar claim returns: that undocumented immigrants are voting in large numbers and tipping elections toward Democrats. It is a powerful accusation—because if true, it would strike at the legitimacy of democracy itself.

But serious claims require serious evidence.

So let’s begin somewhere concrete: with names.

Not thousands. Not even hundreds. But real, documented individuals—Americans—who attempted to cheat the system:

Charles Franklin Barnes, charged with voting in two states. Alan Becker, charged with double voting between New York and Florida. Bruce Bartman, who cast a ballot for his deceased mother. Donald “Kirk” Hartle, who voted twice and also submitted a ballot in his late wife’s name. Robert Rivernider Jr., charged with forging his dead father’s ballot.
