Jobs secured at Teesside chemical factory after commitment from company
Jobs across Teesside have been secured after a Saudi Arabian company agreed to continue operations at its factory.
SABIC, a chemical company based in the Middle East, has committed to continue operations at its Polyethylene plant in Teesside.
It is a big boost for workers at the Polyethylene plant, however, SABIC also decided to close its Olefins 6 cracker plant in The Wilton Centre, Redcar.
