Ben Houchen has issued an update on negotiations with airlines in a bid to secure new flights from Teesside Airport.

The Tees Valley Mayor has long hinted at plans to get more airlines signed up at the airport, telling the Echo as far back as 2020 he wanted to see Jet2, easyJet and Wizz landing there,
