Gmail users who send mail from Yahoo, Outlook or custom domain addresses through their Google inbox have just over a year to find another solution.

Google is confident about the fact that the "Send as" feature will be discontinued for all third-party addresses starting from January 2027. It has been a solution adopted by many people who had multiple emails but wanted to send messages from only one account.
