JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon has taken the lead in a new AI safety push by urging the corporate leaders to join a US-focused industry group to tackle AI-posed threats as the tech companies are racing to develop advanced artificial intelligence models.

According to the sources familiar to the matter and reported by Reuters, Dimon has personally met the CEOs of other notable regional and tech companies, convincing them to take part in this initiative, a part of the group named Alliance for Critical Infrastructure (ACI).
