While the identity of the actor has changed from the story last week, the message is the same: Oil is not doing well due to fears of a supply bonanza and a decrease in demand. While some people dream of the return of $1 a gallon gas as a result of the fall of the Maduro regime and the opening of Venezuela’s rich oil fields to Chevron, BP, et al., the story is much, much more complicated than that.
