The EA-37B fleet, originally slated to include 12 aircraft, could be expanded to 22 by the 2030s—but it would need to clear many congressional hurdles first.

The US Air Force is planning to double the number of its newest electronic warfare aircraft in service. 

As global demands continue to increase, the Air Force seeks to add an additional 10 EA-37B Compass Call electronic warfare aircraft in its fleet over the next few years, on top of the 12 already planned—bringing the total fleet of aircraft to 22.
