Awards, accolades not what they used to be

It appears at least five politicians high up in our government have won the Nobel Peace Prize. Obama winning for doing basically nothing was their worst decision, but all have been horrible.

I used to buy music based on [artists] winning Grammy awards. It’s hard to say their decisions were better than the Nobel Peace Prize.

I enjoy some shows on the CW, but when [a show] goes from one of the main networks to the CW, it usually means you’re not relevant. The Miss USA contest is about on par with the MTV Video Music Awards today in terms of relevance.

The International Criminal Court has a reputation of going after primarily African leaders (what some would call racism). More recently, they’ve gone after Hamas, Putin and Netanyahu.

If anything, it shows change is possible. Can the Nobel Peace Prize and Grammy awards start going to worthy people and music? Can the Miss USA contest and MTV Video Music Awards become relevant again?

As it is today, if Trump does win a Nobel Peace Prize, he should take it. Bill Clinton should give him his two Grammy awards, and they should be thrown where they belong — in the trash.
