Stephen Colbert’s ‘Late Show’ sign finds new home at West Hollywood eatery

(KTLA) – The late-night TV community may have said goodbye to “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” last month, but a big, colorful reminder of the show has found a new home. 

Perched atop a restaurant in West Hollywood, Calif., is the illuminated “Late Show” sign — the same one that greeted studio audiences and guests during the show’s 11-season run at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City.  

The sign was acquired by Jeff Douek, the owner of WeHo Bistro, after it was auctioned to benefit the World Central Kitchen, a nonprofit providing meals in communities affected by disasters and humanitarian crises, according to the WeHo Times.
