WATCH: Two cars fall into sinkhole at traffic light in Nebraska

OMAHA, Nebraska (WJW) – A wild video shows two cars plunging into a sinkhole while the drivers were sitting at a stoplight in Omaha, Nebraska on Tuesday.

The video, shared by Omaha Police, showed two vehicles falling into a sinkhole as it opened up just outside the intersection.

Police said bystanders jumped into action to help the trapped drivers.

“Other bystanders directed traffic and encouraged folks to back away from the area,” police said.

Surrounding roads were closed following the incident. And no injuries have been reported.
