GOP lawmakers tout Trump's new 'Rose Garden Club': 'Last night was epic'
Republican lawmakers took to social media early Saturday to praise President Trump's new "Rose Garden Club," following renovations to the garden that sits near the West Wing of the White House.
Trump invited a slew of guests to the Rose Garden on Friday night for a dinner.
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) shared a variety of photos from the event on social platform X early Saturday.
"The grand opening of the new Rose Garden Club at the White House last night was epic," Johnson wrote. "Thanks to @realDonaldTrump for his hospitality & visionary leadership."
Vice President Vance also attended the event, sharing a table with Sens. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) and Markwayne Mullin (R-Ga.), as well as Rep. Richard Hudson (R-N.C.).
"Honored that President Trump invited me to be part of the Inaugural Rose Garden Club dinner last night at the White House," Hudson wrote online. "It was great to spend some time with @POTUS in the Oval Office."
