President Trump on Wednesday urged Republicans facing tight races in the November midterm elections to run on his record, pledging to join them on the campaign trail.

Trump told Republican lawmakers at a dinner in the White House Rose Garden that they had successful stories to pass along to voters in the remaining months of the election cycle. In telling those, he said they will “win and you’re going to win big.”

“I’m going to go to every one of those 35 places, and we’re going to see if we can get everyone elected,” the president continued, referring to the 35 races that will determine GOP control of the House and the Senate in the fall.
