Spencer Pratt shocks reporter, explains how to fix homeless crisis 

The Los Angeles mayoral race is heating up, with insurgent candidate Spencer Pratt surging on social media thanks to some very savvy advertising that correctly highlights what has gone wrong during the reign of incumbent Mayor Karen Bass.  

Even the mainstream media has to recognize how knowledgeable Spencer is about the specific problems the city is facing. I was particularly impressed to see him correct a notable misconception about LA’s homelessness problem, which isn’t really a homelessness problem at all but rather a problem of drug addiction. Here was Pratt explaining to a local reporter that the city’s thousands of homeless people are not truly homeless. 

Pratt is absolutely correct. Many people naively assume that we — and by that I mean we the taxpayers — are not spending enough of our money to ensure that the homeless have homes. Manifestly, this is not the case. Governments spend millions of dollars, your dollars and mine, to provide food and shelter to needy Americans. There are beds for every homeless person who needs one.
