Trump approval rating dips: Poll
President Trump’s approval rating has dipped slightly in new polling just more than two months into his second term.
A Harvard CAPS/Harris poll found 49 percent of registered voters approved of Trump’s job performance, down from 52 percent who said the same last month and compared with 46 percent who disapproved.
Trump's "general ratings have been holding up and he has much higher approval ratings than [former President] Biden. We show a dip but it’s within the margin of error and so we will see next month if it’s just random fluctuation or a trend," said pollster Mark Penn.
Twelve percent of surveyed Republicans disapproved, compared with 79 percent of Democrats and 50 percent of independents who felt similarly.
The president’s approval also ticked down........
