Rep. Donald Norcross (D-N.J.) has been released from the hospital after undergoing treatment for a gallbladder infection that progressed to sepsis.

Norcross’s office said in a release Thursday that he’s been discharged from the hospital and begun his rehabilitation. He credited the medical staff at Cooper University Health Care, where he was admitted, with saving his life.
