Trump teases White House ballroom: ‘There will be nothing like it’

President Trump on Sunday teased the public with renderings of the new White House ballroom he is building in place of the East Wing, which was demolished last year.

“Our Great National Security Facility and Ballroom is moving along on schedule,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.

“When completed, there will be nothing like it anywhere in the World!” he added. 

The project is expected to cost $600 million and create an expanded space for diplomatic gatherings and other events with foreign dignitaries and citizens receiving national honors. 

The ballroom sits where the East Wing was once located, leading some former presidents and White House officials to decry the move to demolish........
