A couple's selfless $10,000 donation will allow five-year-old Jazmyn McDonald to undergo "life-changing" eye surgery next month.

Born with a rare eye deformity, surgery complications left the Victorian Central Highlands region girl blind in one eye and suffering every day with inflammation and pain.

So much so, the Melbourne Royal Children's Hospital referred her to a private ophthalmologist due to the complexity, who recommended the removal of her right eye.

The cost of the operation and........
