Trump Is Working Toward Peace, So Now The Democrats Love War
Unlike career politicians, Trump quickly got the momentum going on ending the bloodshed in Ukraine by meeting with Putin in Alaska and Zelenskyy in Washington. The pace was dizzying.
Trump moves things along. Career “diplomats” in D.C. do long meetings, sometimes over decades, in European five-star hotels to hash out minute details on “international diplomacy” that are never resolved. Then they agree to meet next year to discuss things further — at another very nice hotel at taxpayer expense. Then they go into academia, because what they did was academic.
Trump applies business standards to government, which is why he was hired. He is doing well. If I took a shot of bourbon every time Trump got a win, I’d be defense secretary.
Astonishingly, in his four years in office Biden never even tried to talk to Putin about ending the war in Ukraine. Something very favorable has happened in the Republican Party. They have become the party of peace, not of endless wars of choice.
One thing is clear: in the coming weeks, the world’s attention will be squarely focused on the meeting between Zelenskyy and Putin that may prove to be a pivotal moment in the Ukraine war, one that could either pave the way for peace or further deepen the divide between East and West.
Trump got France, Germany, Italy, Finland and England to the White House to move this peace process along. The left hates and takes the other side of anything Trump does; the Democrats want no part of peace breaking out all over the world. If they cannot blame it on climate change, they will probably resort to calling it “racist,” since meetings are being held at the “White” House. Trump thinks outside the Washington, D.C. box. Maybe what Trump should do is combine two of the upcoming events he has planned to solve the war. He could have Putin and Zelenskyy cage fight in the White House Rose Garden in a pay-for-view TV UFC match to settle this war — and then use the proceeds to reduce the deficit.
That UFC fight would be the most ferocious fight in the White House since the day Hillary Clinton read about the results of the DNA test on Monica’s blue dress.
The head of the UFC, Trump buddy Dana White, was purported to have said things that the left called “sexist, homophobic and racist” in 2012. But that was in Obama’s time, when everything was considered sexist, homophobic and racist. Times have changed. Now our men can be men and our jeans models can be sexy.
Things are not looking good for Zelenskyy, who wore another weird suit out of a Bollywood movie to the White House. It got even worse when he saw a sign at the entrance of the White House that said, “You have to be at least 5 foot 6 inches to ride Trump’s coattails.” (RELATED: ‘I Cannot Believe It’: Zelenskyy Pleasantly Surprises Trump By Wearing Suit To White House)
Look, no one doubts that the Ukrainians have fought bravely, perhaps even revealing Russia as a “paper tiger” with this stalemate. But without our money and weapons, this thing is over. And we are done with funding forever wars where we have little self-defense interest. That was a Bush/Obama/Biden thing. Zelenskyy needs to make a deal, give up some Russian-speaking land on the Ukrainian border, save hundreds of thousands of lives and end the misery.
When the head of NATO called Trump “daddy,” he probably did that because daddy is expected to pay for everything. When Trump told NATO they have to pay for this war, suddenly they flew to Washington to settle it.
We have our own problems. We cannot even afford to defend the streets of D.C. Our DOJ deep state partisan employees are throwing Subway sandwiches at police officers. The mayor of D.C. is doing what she does, reporting the crimes as something less than they really are to make her city look better. Instead of charging the Subway sandwich thrower with a felony, she reported the crime as an Assault with a Deli Weapon.
One of the central aspects of Trump’s proposed peace plan is his perceived willingness to pressure both Russia and Ukraine into a settlement. Trump has floated the idea that, in his approach to diplomacy, he would prioritize a cessation of hostilities in exchange for some historic Russian land and “Article 5-like” security agreements from NATO for Ukraine.
Trump needs to get this thing settled and get back to normal ceremonial presidential duties. The WNBA playoffs begin soon, and he needs to be on hand to throw out the first dildo.
