The North Korea Freedom Coalition (NKFC) has announced plans for its 23rd Annual North Korea Freedom Week. The theme this year is: “TRUTH will set them FREE and NORTH KOREANS Are Leading the Way!”

The theme will focus on what North Koreans are doing to bring freedom to their homeland in a peaceful way through the power of information. And alongside their efforts are very grave concerns about the deteriorating situation confronting human rights activists to the south on the same peninsula. Just a few miles away in South Korea, President Lee Jae Myung’s administration is taking draconian measures aimed at stopping their work.

NKFC organizers of this week have acknowledged how important it is, stating, “This is the most challenging time in the history of the North Korea human rights movement, so this year will be extremely important to uphold the freedom, human rights and dignity of the North Korean people as we have witnessed a dramatic change in South Korea with the current Minister of Unification actually being........
