It's time to close the rural health reality gap

One year ago, I moved to Western New York to become dean of the DePerro School of Health Professions at St. Bonaventure University. I left Cleveland — one of the country’s most sophisticated health care environments — drawn not by scale, but by purpose. I came because I believe rural health is where health care equity will ultimately be decided.
