One of the joys of Parliamentary Recess is that I get to spend more time in the constituency, meeting local businesses, residents and more generally spending time in the town I love.

In that vein I wanted to give you a flavour of the sorts of things I got up to in a week of working in the constituency. I’ll cover a few of the major events and visits I engaged with in that week as well as mention some of the key issues that cropped up.

I’ll run through my day on Monday to give you an idea of some of the work I undertook during the most recent Parliamentary Recess.
