Swindon Town new attacking trick taken from Sheffield United

Ian Holloway has been borrowing an old trick from Chris Wilder to help rediscover Swindon Town’s spark in attack.

Following a lightning-quick start to the season, Swindon slowed down during October as they were shut out twice, having had it happen only once in the opening two months of the season, and there was also a concerning drop-off in the number of passes they were making in the final third.

Holloway said that he believed teams had figured out a way to play against Swindon, having praised Accrington Stanley, Notts County, and Colchester United for the way that they pressed his side.
