Swindon shoppers 'unimpressed' by store that replaced M&S

Swindon shoppers gave their verdict on the retailer that has replaced the Regent Street Marks and Spencer.

House to Home moved into the vacant space in December and is advertising a 50 per cent off discount to entice people inside.

It has been revealed that the shop was previously unnamed and based at 6 The Parade - where the Topshop and Topman used to be.

The shop can either be accessed via the old entrance to M&S opposite Primark, or via the Brunel Shopping Centre.

Adver readers who had popped into the store offered their feedback and views on the general state of the town centre.

Darryl Duncan said: “Will have a sign in the window for the next three years saying closing down.”
