Erdoğan’s Groundbreaking Remarks and Türkiye’s New Moves
On July 12, 2025, President Erdoğan delivered a historic speech in Kızılcahamam that shifted many long-standing paradigms. His address contained numerous explicit and implicit messages that deserve serious consideration. However, we do not believe that large segments of society fully grasped these messages. As usual, the mainstream media trivialized the matter, emphasizing “Emine Erdoğan’s tears” and thereby diluting the seriousness of the speech. Instead of engaging with the President’s statements, they focused extensively on the irrelevant topics raised by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, who was trying to deflect attention from the political mire his party had fallen into.
Major moves are coming
When President Erdoğan declared, “The doors of the Century of Türkiye are wide open,” he was indicating that the barriers erected by Türkiye’s enemies—using terrorism as their primary tool—have now been cleared, and major strategic moves on a global scale are on the horizon.
His statement, “When Turks, Kurds, and Arabs unite, no force can stand against them,” is a significant emphasis. This sentiment, reflecting the spirit of Caliph Omar, Saladin, the Seljuks, and the Ottomans, suggests that Türkiye is ready to reclaim this historic mission and once again influence the flow of history.
The Sykes-Picot regime is being thrown away
His observation that “We lost when Turks, Kurds, and Arabs were separated and borders were drawn between them” refers directly to the 1916 Sykes-Picot Agreement, signed by the colonial powers Britain and France—and later approved by Russia and Italy—which partitioned the Ottoman Empire. He conveys that it is possible to eliminate these artificial, table-drawn borders and return to an era of trust and peace. By saying, “When hearts unite, borders disappear,” he signals the potential end of these imposed divisions.
Ships and weapons were burned; there is no turning back
Touching on past state mistakes toward Kurdish citizens and noting the end of denial and suppression policies, Erdoğan firmly declared, “We will remove weapons from among us and solve all issues face-to-face through dialogue.”
