Senedd members criticised Cardiff University’s plans to cut 400 jobs and courses including nursing.
Members called for ministers to intervene to prevent “educational vandalism”, with Labour’s Julie Morgan warned that losing seven per cent of the university’s workforce would have a “devastating and lasting” impact – not only on individuals but on the city and on Wales.
