The seemingly never-ending month of January has finally come to a close, and we’ve welcomed in a new month of 2025.

We have dived headfirst back into work in the Senedd and here locally we have already seen some fantastic developments in the city, with even more to look forward to as the year continues.

Some very positive steps have been taken already around the cultural regeneration of Newport, including Le Public Space’s premises on High Street being purchased by Music Venue Properties.

They are an organisation which helps grassroots venues like Le Public Space operate without the fear of exploitative landlords........
