A Love Is Blind UK participant has revealed they were cut from the Netflix series despite getting engaged in the pods.

Love Is Blind UK returned for a second series on Netflix on August 13, following 30 new single men and women on the hunt for their soulmate.

However, unlike other dating shows, on this series, participants get to know each other from behind a wall and only meet face-to-face if they decide to take the leap and get engaged.

Netflix adds: "After meeting face-to-face, each engaged couple will move in together and navigate the stresses of daily life — from family drama to hectic work schedules and everything in between.

"At the end of it all, they’ll walk down the aisle and decide if they’re ready to say “I do” within a matter of weeks."

The first five episodes of Love Is Blind UK, season 2, were released on Netflix last Wednesday (August 13), and saw the 30 new singles enter the pods.
