More than £77,000 has been awarded to independent cinemas, film festivals and pop-up screenings.

The funding comes from Ffilm Cymru Wales, through its Film Exhibitor Fund, and will support 13 cinema projects across Wales, including the Riverfront Community Cinema and Circle Cinema in Newport.

The fund is backed by National Lottery funding and delegated by the Arts Council of Wales.
