A new rock festival is set to shake the grounds of one of Wales’ most iconic landmarks.

Alter Bridge will headline the first-ever Blackbird Festival at Cardiff Castle on Saturday, June 27, 2026, marking their first performance in Wales in more than seven years.

Myles Kennedy, vocalist and guitarist for Alter Bridge, said: "We realised we haven’t played Wales in over seven years.

"To make up for lost time, we thought it would be cool to do something extra special.
