A ten-year-old boy from Caldicot is starring in a new BBC adaptation of William Golding’s Lord of the Flies.

10-year-old Alfie Kylee has had a passion for acting since he was seven years old.

The Caldicot lad is set for his big break this Sunday (February 8), hitting the big screen alongside more than 30 boys, many of whom are making their professional acting debuts.

Lord of the Flies follows a group of schoolboys stranded on a tropical island after a plane crash.
