A San Francisco bar known for minimalist cocktails has landed on a prestigious list of the year’s best new bars in America.

Punch, a respected digital publication devoted to bars and drinking culture, has included the Lower Haight’s Stoa among its five picks for the country’s best new watering holes. Industry veteran Yanni Kehagiaras, the former bar director for acclaimed spots like Liholiho Yacht Club and Nopalito, opened Stoa on Haight Street in the fall of 2023.
