Mexican grocery chain Vallarta Supermarkets, whose website lists 58 stores across California, plans to open its first Bay Area location. The So Cal-headquartered chain is moving into the former Toys R Us and Babies R Us location at The Plant shopping center in San Jose, according to SiliconValley.com.
