After scraping with Arizona Cardinals cornerbacks on back-to-back plays, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings was ejected from Sunday’s game, costing him a chance at a 1,000-yard season.

In the middle of the second quarter, Jennings aggressively blocked Cardinals defensive back Starling Thomas V on a running play. Thomas responded by shoving Jennings back and kicking off a skirmish, which included Thomas pulling Jennings’ helmet off. The two were both penalized for personal fouls after the play, but the wideout stayed in the game.
