You and I have not enjoyed the weather for the last few weeks. 

Too cold, too much snow and no sun. 

Airlines are struggling to keep their schedules. School kids can’t go out for recess. Runners and cyclists are finding it impossible to get outdoors. Our pets can’t run in the backyard. Drivers are fearing fender benders.   

But farmers are smiling.   

The deep freeze we saw for the first two weeks of January will do farmers a favour in the realm of pest control. 

Many harmful insects and fungus organisms will be properly dealt with because our winter is more........
