Taylor Farms is recalling salsas and guacamole from major retailers over salmonella risk

The California-based supplier pulled more than 20 products from Walmart, Kroger, Target, Whole Foods, and other retailers across 26 states

Taylor Fresh Foods announced Sunday that it was recalling more than 20 prepared food products containing jalapeño peppers due to potential salmonella contamination, after its pepper supplier, Coast Citrus Distributors, recalled its fresh jalapeños over the same concern.

The recall covers salsas, guacamoles, dips, and other prepared items sold at Walmart $WMT, Kroger, Target $TGT, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Stop & Shop, and Hannaford across 26 states. All recalled products carry a "best if used by" date through Aug. 16,........
