FAA is delaying Boeing's 737 Max 10 certification over a software glitch

The FAA said it won't certify the Max 10 until it determines whether the glitch poses a safety risk, potentially pushing the timeline past October

The Federal Aviation Administration said Monday it will hold off certifying the Boeing $BA 737 Max 10 until it resolves questions about a software glitch, dealing a fresh blow to the planemaker's effort to bring the largest variant of its best-selling jet to market, according to CNBC.

"We haven't concluded whether this is a safety-of-flight issue or not, but we will be delaying the 10 ... until we're satisfied that we don't have an issue here," FAA Administrator Bryan Bedford said at a press conference in Washington, D.C. Certification of the Max 10........
