A prototype Microsoft Xbox Elite controller leaked with a tiny built-in screen

A Reddit user claimed to have bought the non-functional prototype for $200 on OfferUp before the post was removed

Microsoft $MSFT's Xbox Elite Series 3 controller prototype surfaced on Reddit $RDDT on Tuesday, with photos showing a previously undisclosed built-in screen and other new features — before the post was taken down.

A user in the r/Controller subreddit claimed to have purchased the device for $200 on OfferUp, an online reseller marketplace, according to The Verge. The original post disappeared shortly after, but The Verge's Tom Warren saved and republished the images before they were lost.
