Having prosecuted stalking cases for almost 30 years, I have seen many red flags indicating the pathological progression of unrequited love. Yet in reality, many cases of obsessive focus do not lead to criminal charges. With unreciprocated passion, the individual who gets burned may be the one carrying the torch. Chloe Evans et al.
