This year’s main stage lineup features a dynamic mix of returning talent and exciting new voices.
The performers include Dave Gunning, Irish Mythen, Morgan Toney, and Logan Richard, along with local favourites Sahara Jane, Laura Roy, Freya Milliken, The Hupman Brothers, and The Spinney Brothers.
The Wolfville festival runs from Sept. 24-28.
On Wednesday, Sept. 24, at The Church Brewing Company, you’ll be able to find out how the band R.E.M. achieved worldwide fame. Valley musicians Jeff Hennessy, Nicholas D’Amato, Noah Scanlan, and Alec Bloch will pay tribute to R.E.M.
On Sept. 25, Festival Theatre will host this year’s Artists@Acadia, Champagne Weather. Presented as part of the Acadia School of Music’s Concert and Lecture Series, they will do a deep dive into the inner workings of their unique creative process.
The jam-packed schedule features song circles Saturday afternoon, dance events at Devour! Studios, a Square Dance Jamboree on Friday night with the Rabbit Square Dance Band, Mary Beth Carty and Ally Fiola.
