Tea time at Hutchison House
Summertime at Hutchison House Museum means Scottish Tea Season. Beginning Wednesday, July 2, enjoy tea served on the terrace in the period garden of Peterborough’s living museum, located at 270 Brock St.
Scottish Tea includes tea, lemonade, or iced tea, served with fresh baked scones, preserves, whipped cream, and oatcakes. Tours of the 1840s restored stone house are included with admission. Scottish Teas take place throughout the summer, from 1 to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays to Sundays until August 31.
Admission is $12 for adults and youth, $8 for children under 10, and free for children under 5. Registration is required for groups larger than four. For more information, or to make a reservation, please email the museum at info@hutchisonhouse.ca or call 705-743-9710.
