Sip wine and listen to sweet tunes at Kawartha Country Wines

Ester Mayer and Shelby Crego have been a music duo for the last two and half years and met at Jethro’s Blues Jam in Peterborough.

Crego is from Bobcaygeon and Mayer from Toronto. They have played in other Peterborough spots including the Black Horse. Their music ranges from classic rock and roll, soulful blues to upbeat songs with jazz stylings. Mayer sings with power and soul, while Crego is dynamic and soulful on the guitar.

Jo Pillon, a local realtor, sponsors these Sunday afternoon music fests at Kawartha Country Wines where you can sit back with a glass of wine and enjoy the music. Pillon is a member of the Peterborough Musicians Benevolent Association (a.k.a. PMBA) and draws many musicians from that experience.

PMBA provides financial assistance to musicians in need. A musician’s main source of money comes from playing. If they are sick or have an accident and cannot play, their source of income is gone. PMBA offers a........
