The crypto industry needs rules & clarity
Astoria: Recently, I traveled to Washington, D.C. with Stand With Crypto to meet with the offices of Sens. Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand about the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act (CLARITY Act). I made the trip because I believe the United States has a once-in-a-generation opportunity to lead the future of finance. As the founder and CEO of Rayo Capital Group, I work closely with founders, investors and institutions building digital asset infrastructure, and I see every day how regulatory uncertainty slows innovation and investment.
For too long, entrepreneurs, developers and everyday users have operated without clear rules. That uncertainty discourages investment, limits innovation and makes it harder for responsible companies to build in the United States. The CLARITY Act changes that by establishing a clear, workable framework for digital assets. The bill has already passed the House with bipartisan support and advanced through the Senate Banking Committee. Now it needs a full Senate vote. Every month of delay creates uncertainty for builders and gives other countries an opportunity to attract the next generation of talent and capital. America should lead this industry, not watch it grow elsewhere.
The Senate should advance the CLARITY Act now. Builders, innovators and millions of Americans deserve clear rules, strong consumer protections and the certainty to innovate here at home.
Brooklyn: If you see something, say something. Thanks to shop steward Sean Dow, who warned other workers about the unsafe, collapsing structure at E. 42nd St (“Union says E. 42nd St. building developers cut corners, put safety at........
