Daphne Rogers, who lives at Care UK's Cavell Court on Dragonfly Lane, Norwich, celebrated her centenarian status with a party.

The South Africa-born resident, who moved to Norfolk in the 1960s, shared her wisdom for a long life, crediting her longevity to "taking my vitamins".

She said: "I’ve always been careful with my diet and would go on a daily walk around the neighbourhood in Diss when I was well into my 90s.
