Emergency services were called to Rockland St Mary at 5.20pm on Tuesday following reports of a man in the water who had fallen off a boat.

Two ambulances, two paramedic cars, police, the fire brigade, and Hemsby Lifeboat all attended the incident, and officials confirmed a man in his 70s had died at the scene.

While the circumstances of the incident are still unknown, the Broads Authority is urging boaters to always keep their life jackets on.
