Aaron Dunthorne, who has four children with the woman he had been with for about 13 years, also threatened to hang himself so his former partner and children would find him.

Norwich Crown Court also heard the 32-year-old even told one of his children, then 10 or 11, to stay out of his way while he was driving it or he would run her over.

Danielle O’Donovan, prosecuting, said Dunthorne referred to his ex-partner as a “whore, slag and fat c**t” in person and in various messages between April and October last year.
